Peter Harmer
"Based in Newmarket on the Cambridgeshire-Suffolk border, I have over fifteen years of professional experience, making films for a wide range of clients across the UK and beyond. I graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art in 2010 with a first -class honours degree in Digital Screen Arts and subsequently went on to build a successful career as a filmmaker and film tutor.
To date, I have made hundreds of films and delivered hundreds of projects across the world. I’ve had the privilege to work for large blue-chip corporate clients such as Microsoft and Siemens through to small local charities and schools.
As a tutor and workshop leader I have worked with thousands of young people from primary age through to degree level from a wide variety of backgrounds. Arts Award trained, I am a tenacious advocate of the potential film has to empower and transform the lives of young people."
